Leaned immediately after assembly and finally collapsed : South Shore Axess Collection 5-Shelf Bookcase, Royal Cherry

Shelves are held in place with plastic pieces that insert into predrilled holes. I put a row of text books on one of the shelves and it bent significantly in the middle. I felt that whether the plastic pieces holding the shelves in place or the shelf itself might break under the weight. I redistributed the books and it is fine now. If you have a lot to heavy books you may look for a shelf made of stronger materials else this shelf is fine.
